Season 5 is coming…
JOE has had such a severe case of Game of Thrones withdrawal syndrome that we’ve taken to re-enacting some of our favourite scenes from the superb HBO show.
This may seem a bit extreme given that we have the DVD box-sets and read the books but it hasn’t stopped us from dressing our dog up as Daenerys’ dragons, rallying our mates around for some 3am sword fights and getting our stupidest friend to play the part of Jon Snow. He also knows nothing.
Fans of the show will be delighted to learn that the world of Westeros will return on Sunday April 12 in the US and we presume that Irish audiences will be able to see it the very next day as per the norm.
Spoiler alert but season 5 has so many questions that must be answered. How will the alliance between Stannis Baratheon and the Nights Watch develop, can Arya Stark survive in Braavos on her own and will Hodor ever get that position as financial manager in the Iron Bank that he so clearly craves for.
All will be revealed very soon. We know everything but we’re saying nothing, just like Hodor then really.
