A bit over the top, no?
Conor McGregor has no problem dishing it out to his UFC rivals so we suppose he should be able to take it when they give it back to him.
That said, number three-ranked UFC featherweight Ricardo Lamas went to ridiculous lengths to stick it the Notorious ahead of his match-up with Dennis Siver in Boston this weekend, poking fun at a few easy-to-spot Irish stereotypes while he was at it.
Like we said, McGregor engages in plenty of smack talk about his rivals so he shouldn’t be surprised to see it come back at him, but you’d have to wonder about the ambition of a man who makes a seven-minute video about a rival, however much McGregor might be putting noses out of joint.
Have a look for yourself in the video above and see what you think; the references to Irish stereotypes aren’t particularly terrible but they might cause a few eyebrows to be raised all the same.
Somebody’s sniffing a fight with McGregor somewhere down the line, we reckon.
