The boys from Lucan are back… and with a lot less hair gel this time.
Having just featured in JOE’s 6 worst Irish haircuts from the past 6 years, it looks like Jedward have redeemed themselves (slightly), as they’re no longer supporting a ‘There’s Something About Mary’ hairdo.
Instead the two lads look to have given their image an entire overhaul.

Their infamous, shiny, one-piece space suits have been traded in for hipster youth haircuts, leather jackets and skinny jeans, but will their new image help to shake off the teeny-bopper vibe they’re known for?
Probably not, no. Sorry lads.
As for the new video for their new track ‘Make Your Own Luck’, it features a pretty cringey cameo from celebrity blogger Prez Hilton, while American comedian Margaret Cho also has a starring role.
In the video, one of the Jedwards (we honestly couldn’t tell you which one) cleans Cho’s house along with some other dirty work, while the other Jedward gallivants around L.A. without a care in the world.
Why? Because you ‘make your own luck’. Get it? That’s the title of the song! Very clever, boys…
Anyway, so who do we have to blame thank for this re-emergence of the musical duo that is Jedward. Will we all be rocking up to Louis Walsh’s house later today with burning torches and pitchforks thank you cards?
The answer is no. This is not Louis’ doing, according to his apparence on Never Mind the Buzzcock’s Christmas Special…
