We hope you haven’t booked those flights just yet.
Conor McGregor will fight Jose Aldo for the featherweight title this year, but it could be later than we all expected.
The bout was thought to be scheduled for Las Vegas in May, however McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh revealed a different plan today.
Speaking on Newstalk Breakfast, Kavanagh said: “It’s not 100% yet. There was talk of a May date, but it may actually be later in the year.
“I get a lot of tweets and messages from people wanting to book their flights. I would just say hold on until the UFC officially announce it.
“(It’ll happen) Mid-summer maybe and it’ll be in Las Vegas, the fighting capital of the world.”
