Weather that separates the men from the boys.
We all know that GAA players are hardy men but the players from IT Sligo and Queens are a different breed altogether.
Their Sigerson Cup tie went ahead following some heavy showers in Belfast last-night, and with temperatures just above freezing at throw-in, we’re sure that conditions were far from ideal for a free-flowing match.
Sligo prevailed by 1-09 to 0-8 in some pretty awful snow-swept conditions and if this video is anything to go by then we’re fairly sure that all the players had a few cups of tea into them at half-time.
Fair play to the fans that showed up, that’s commitment.
Take a look.
