You’re going to have to pay for it, mind.
According to Tech Crunch, a new ‘premium’ version of Tinder will soon launch in the US and could even be available by the middle of next month.
iOS and Android users will have to pay to use the updated version of the app, known as Tinder Plus, which reports suggest could be anything between $1.99 and $19.99 for a monthly subscription.
Having to pay for it is not the only new feature of the new Tinder, however.
Crucially, users will be able to avail of an ‘undo’ button if they have second thoughts about their swipes to the right, while the Passport function enables users to widen their search area to find a greater number of potential matches.
If and when the updated Tinder will be launched on this side of the world remains to be seen, but, despite the new features, having to pay for the service is probably something that won’t go down well with those who use it in its current guise.
The ‘Undo’ button will come in fairly handy all the same.
