This is one very special accumulator put together by a Paddy Power customer in London.
Predicting one result on your coupon can be hard enough some times. Getting six right is very, very good indeed. But this mystery punter in London cleaned Paddy Power out of almost €45,000 with one very clever, and very correct, £3 accumulator.
The gambler in question laid this bet:
Kilmarnock to beat Dundee and both teams to score – 7/2
Dundee United to beat Inverness and both teams to score – 9/2
Athletic Bilbao to beat Mallorca and both teams to score – 13/5
Nurnberg to beat Fortuna Dusseldorf and both teams to score – 6/1
Marseille to beat Toulouse and both teams to score – 3/1
Valenciennes to beat Rennes and both teams to score – 4/1
There were some close shaves on the way to winning this one though. Dundee United only beat Inverness thanks to an injury time goal and Toulouse took 82 minutes to score in their 2-1 defeat to Marseille. But in the end they all came in.
It’s a fantastic bet and an inspiration to all small-time punters everywhere.
