Here’s a pretty cool video showing us what’s in store when Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag finally comes out on October 29 this year.

Fans of the Assassin’s Creed series have fought all over the globe by now, including Constantinople, Italy and even America, but now you’ll be taking to the seven seas as Captain Edward Kenway, a bounty-hunting pirate. You can check out the trailer here.

This video, on the other hand, isn’t as much a trailer for the game as it is a backstory to the latest adventure. Have a look below.

Here’s what Ubisoft said on YouTube: “The year is 1715. In the Caribbean, desperate sailors with ideals of true freedom assemble to establish the Republic of Pirates. But far from idyllic, their life is brutal, filled with betrayal and debauchery. Here at last are their true stories…”

Debauchery? Sounds like our kind of game. Like we said, Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag finally comes out on October 29 but until then you can check out this pretty nifty pirate info-graph detailing the Golden Age of Piracy… Can’t see the text? Click this link
