The DJ presents his final show on BBC Radio 1 tonight.
The hashtag #ThanksZane is trending on Twitter tonight as the DJ bids farewell to a show that he has hosted since 2003.
The former host of MTV Gonzo will be heading over to the US to work for Apple and will be replaced by our own Annie Mac.
Lowe’s eclectic tastes and indies sensibilities have been a welcome listen to music fans, especially when compared to some of the more mundane and generic music that’s frequently heard on the radio.
Some of the worlds most famous artists have shown their appreciation for his work.
