Pic: Ronan O’Gara’s choice of suit for George Hook to wear in the RTE studio is genius

You could see this thing from space.

You could see this thing from space.

There are many sights in this seasons Six Nations that have left a lasting impression on us.

George North staggering to his feet after a serious blow to to the head against England, Johnny Sexton’s thundering collision with Mathieu Bastareaud and Robbie Henshaw leaping over Alex Goode in the corner all spring to mind.

All of those moments would easily be surpassed though if George Hook actually wore this suit, that his RTE colleague Ronan O’Gara has picked out for him, when Ireland travel to Cardiff to play Wales.

ROG does live in the capital of fashion so Hook’s going to have to trust his opinion here.

This suit is probably shinier than the actual Six Nations trophy and it’s even louder than Hook’s own booming voice.

Naturally we would give anything to see George embrace his inner Matador.
