Where the hell is the Holy Stone of Clonrichert on this list?
Unfortunately, the Holy Stone or any Irish landmark failed to make the list of the world’s top 30 bucket-list destinations, as voted for by over 2,000 British adults in a recent poll for British Airways.
Although there are few real surprises in the Top 30, the landmarks that did make the list are still pretty amazing and many of you are probably lucky enough to have ticked off quite a few of them on your travels to date.
Predictably enough, the Eiffel Tower came in at number one, followed by the Grand Canyon and Big Ben, with the Statue of Liberty, the pyramids of Giza and the Niagara Falls also making the top ten.
Because it was a poll of British adults, it’s probably not surprising that there are a large number of British attractions on the list, including Loch Ness, Stonehenge and Edinburgh Castle.
Have a look at the list below to see how many you’ve been lucky to visit and to start planning how many you can possibly visit in the near future.
