It’s that time of the week again where we go to war with one of our readers, as well as Hayley O’Connor from Ladbrokes, to decide who actually knows the most soccer-y stuff about football.
OK, maybe it’s not war, but we cannot help being competitive.
Every week, we’ll be putting a shout out on Twitter for JOE readers to send us in their Premier League treble selections via the #LadbrokesTreble hashtag and every week, one lucky winner will be able to put someone else’s money where their mouth is. This week we’ve even increased the bet to €250.
It’s big money time.
So here are the selections:
JOE’s Selections
Crystal Palace to defeat QPR, 5/6
Rangers have the worst away record in the league, while Palace have looked a far better side since Alan Pardew has taken over.
Arsenal to defeat West Ham, 2/5
Arsenal have won 11 out of their 13 games since New Years Day. An impressive record, if ever there was one.
Hull to defeat Leicester, 5/2
Leicester are playing like a side doomed, while Hull seem to be on the rise. The Tigers have only lost one of their last 5 league games.
This comes in at around 8/1.

Ladbroke’s Selection
Aston Villa to defeat Sunderland, 9/4
Tim Sherwood has gotten some belief back into these Villa players. I fancy them to push themselves towards safety in this crucial fixture.
West Brom and Stoke to draw, 21/10
Tony Pulis faces his old side, but Stoke are a tough team to beat and we reckon they’ll get something from this.
Manchester City to defeat Burnley, 9/20
City should have far too much for Burnley.
This comes in at almost 14/1.
So who’ll win this week?
