You can probably guess what’s coming.
Even though its heyday was three decades ago, the A-Team had such an effect on popular culture at the time and since then that it maintains an influence to this very day.
People who have never even seen the show (or the 2010 movie of the same name) will be familiar with many of the characters, particularly B. A. Baracus, more commonly known simply as Mr. T.
Mr. T’s ‘I pity the fool’ is one of the most well-known catchphrases in TV history and with that in mind, it was no surprise to learn that the makers of a new Home Improvement show starring Mr. T have adapted it ever so slightly to suit the subject matter of the show.
That’s right, the show will be called ‘I Pity the Tool’.
According to the press release, the show, which will air on the DIY network, will see Mr. T demolish outdated spaces to give families beautifully remodelled rooms.
“We’re hooking up homeowners who need help with their renovations,” said Mr. T.
“I’m tired of all this jibber jabber—we’re out here getting things done, working hard, demolishing the old and rebuilding the new.”
Don’t you love it when a plan comes together?
