Donegal is privy to some of the most beautiful landscape and scenery in Ireland, but for those of us who don’t live in the north west of Ireland, we’re reliant on the talent and painstaking commitment of local photographers to see it.
Photographer Noel Keating has released a stunning video that details the work, effort and sacrifice that’s required as a photographer as he captured the recent beautiful aurora borealis off the Donegal coast.
Noel visited the highest cliffs in Ireland, the Slieve League cliffs, and had to endure freezing conditions, sleepless nights and occasionally broken equipment all in an effort to capture this remarkable footage.
Without a doubt, it’s completely worth the painstaking because this footage is stellar.
