There are definite shades of Foo Fighters about the new Mumford & Sons song ‘The Wolf.’
The banjos were great while they lasted but this new entry into stadium rock territory mirrors both the Foos and Kings of Leon, and it’s all the better for it.
“I think we’re trying to stay true to ourselves, and we’ve moved on a little bit… its like when you look at pictures of yourself from seven years ago – you’re like, it’s still me, but it’s a different me,” said band member Ben Lovett, speaking BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
The new album, Wilder Mind, is out on May 5th.
