Pic: Christmas has arrived ridiculously early up in the Dublin mountains

Tony Cuddihy

Ah here.

There’s still have a Christmas pudding up in the press and we’re still finding needles from the tree in the sitting room, but it seems that the festive season has started eight months early up in the Dublin Mountains.

JOE reader Bob Dixon spotted these fully togged out Christmas trees overlooking the capital city earlier today, glistening in the sunshine with the promise of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, hot whiskeys, over zealous shoppers and a brand new BMX bike.

Not pictured: The beardy fella.
