Robbie has his say on the referendum in May…
The Republic of Ireland captain and LA Galaxy star has voiced his support for the Yes campaign ahead of the upcoming marriage equality referendum on May 22.

Speaking to the Sunday World, Robbie said: “While, unfortunately, I will not be home to vote on May 22, I am strongly supporting a ‘YES’ vote.
“Most of us will have friends or family who, up to now, have been denied to right to marry their loved ones or have been made to feel excluded because of their sexuality. To me, this feels wrong.”
Fair play to him. Robbie now joins a host of Irish celebrities who have publicly voiced their support for the Yes Equality campaign ahead of the marriage equality referendum on May 22.
