B.B. King has died at the age of 89.
The King of Blues passed away in his sleep in Las Vegas.
King was best known for hits such as Lucille, Sweet Black Angel and Rock Me Baby and famously performed ‘When Love Comes To Town’ with U2 for Rattle And Hum in 1988.

He was ranked by Rolling Stone as the third best guitarist of all time, behind Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix, and up to recently performed as many as 100 concerts a year.
He was recently taken ill with a diabetes-related illness.
