Cristiano Ronaldo could really do with taking more control over his Twitter account.
It is quite clear that a lot of sportspeople leave their social media accounts in the control of others and nowhere is this more obvious than in the case of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The tweets from Ronaldo’s account are normally so bland, in fact, that you’d wonder exactly how he has attracted 35.64 million followers.
Occasionally, however, the member of his team tasked with running his Twitter account makes a boo-boo and we can’t help but think that a tweet sent this morning wasn’t the best idea.

It’s not half as bad as another underwear-related gaffe that came from Ronaldo’s account from a couple of years back, mind…
… but, all the same, maybe it’s time for a rethink of his social media strategy on Cristiano’s part.
