JOE enjoys a craft beer as much as the next person, but unfortunately we’re not quite experts just yet.
But we’re definitely enjoying our education.
Ahead of this weekend’s beer-tasting extravanganza at the Killarney Beerfest, we went along to Dublin’s Headline bar to taste and sample six fantastic Irish craft beers.
Our own Eric Lalor, as well as Her.ie’s Marie Madden were put through their paces by chairman of Beoir, Reuben Gray.
If you’re heading to Killarnery this weekend, sit back and sip stout with live entertainment from Picture House, Jerry Fish and The Swing Cats, and stroll through the artisan food village with your fork to taste the best of authentic Irish food.
Beoir Ireland will also debut a new awards programme with over eight categories including Pale Ale, Dark Ale, Wheat Beer, Sour Beer and more, and a Beoir Champion Beer of Ireland will be crowned in Killarney this weekend.
