Saucy slip-up.
The slick sauce maker Heinz suffered a bit of embarrassment recently when a German customer contacted them with an unusual query.
After scanning in the QR code on the back of his ketchup bottle, the guy was brought to a site with not a lot of ketchup, but plenty of sauce.

Startled at being led to the hardcore porn site called Fundorado, he sent the company a message on Facebook to alert them to the issue saying: “Your ketchup is probably not for minors…”

Issuing an official response, Heinz said the campaign ‘Spread the word with Heinz’ no longer exists and the company have no control over where the code will take the customer.

As a form of apology Heinz offered their customer an bottle of ketchup with his own designed label and they were not the only ones offering freebees.
The Porn site Fundorado also offered the German a year’s membership to the site for his viewing pleasure.

Ketchup was never as entertaining.
