We would have thought it would have been more than that to be honest.
Facebook users around the world spend an average of over 20 minutes a day on the social networking site, according to analysts working for investment bank and assets management firm Needham.
Citing data from Digital Analysis company comScore, Needham analysts reckon that on average, Facebook’s 1.44 billion+ users spend just over 20 minutes a day checking their news feeds, trawling through photos creeping on people they’re attracted to and liking and sharing various posts.
Last year, Mark Zuckerberg reckoned that the average US user spent 40 minutes per day on the social networking site.
To our eyes at least, that would seem accurate enough as a reflection of a balance between those who check it once or twice a day and others who spend hours plaguing their Facebook friends with Candy Crush requests.
You know who you are.
