It is, it turns out, a funny old game.
The folks at Football Daily have put together this list of the game’s funniest players and managers.
All the greats are in there, from the unintentionally hilarious (Eric Cantona) to football’s equivalent of Benny Hill, innit’s Jimmy Bullard.
There really is no arguing with top spot, although we hope Zlatan – who just squeaks into the top five – doesn’t see this. There are no prizes for fourth.
