That’s a lot of change.
It has been quite an eventful day for Manchester United fans with the news that David De Gea looks set to be joining (deep breath) Adnan Januzaj (loan), Javier Hernandez, Jonny Evans, Angel Di Maria, Falcao, Victor Valdes, Rafael, Nani, RVP and Anders Lindegaard on the way out of Old Trafford. And breath.
Obviously any football team will see new faces arriving while others leave but Louis Van Gaal’s ‘philosophy’ doesn’t seem to suit everyone.
Michael Owen has just tweeted this image of the Manchester United squad posing for their team photo prior to the start of the 2012/13 season, Fergie’s final one at the helm, and the amount of change is very interesting.
By my logic, only Smalling, Jones, Carrick, Valencia, Johnstone, Young and Rooney remain on the playing staff from this photo.
That's some turnover in 2 years. https://t.co/vvzEWDdeAX pic.twitter.com/YIeR6pOmfO
