It’s not unlimited snack boxes.

The Galway hurlers are still probably drowning their spirits after the defeat to Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final on Sunday.

The final score was 1-22 to 1-18 in favour of the Cats so the Tribesmen’s 27 year quest for the Liam McCarthy cup goes on.

The players and management were given a boost today though after the county’s GAA sponsors Supermac’s paid €20,000 towards the team holiday fund.

The fast food chain and Snack Box kings have been sponsoring the side since 1990 and felt the hurlers needed to be rewarded for their efforts this year.
