There have been over 7,000 votes cast and the results are finally here. JOE readers’ favourite takeaway dish is…*drumroll*…
PIZZA!!!
Almost 18 per cent of all voters went for the delicious Italian dish. The humble snack box was a close second with 17.2 per cent. Apparently it missed out on the Connacht vote because snack wasn’t spelled with a ‘sh’.
The last place on the podium went to the 3-in-1. The innovative curry, chips and rice dish got 11.8 per cent of the vote.
At the other end of the scale was the poor ‘ould spice burger. Apparently, it is about as niche as Brian McFadden’s solo career. It took in only 46 votes, which was below 1 per cent of the vote.
Cod was almost as unpopular, only getting 206 votes, which was less than 3 per cent of the total. Apparently, the orders for fish and chips haven’t been going swimmingly lately.
