Some guys prefer to rock the Grizzly Adams meets Sébastien Chabal look but for others, an early morning shave before heading off to work is an essential requirement.
Shaving can be a pretty mundane task and some men find it to be really irritating, especially if you have sensitive skin or if you’re prone to developing a 5 O’clock shadow. Just like this guy.
Good news then because it seems like you won’t need a razor that has 74 blades to get an extra close shave because a company named Skarp Laser Razor are developing a model that uses a laser rather than a blade to cut your facial fuzz.
The laser is supposed to last for 50,000 hours and the kickstarter campaign has already raised over $1,180,000 in donations. This razor promises to leave you without any scratches, burns, infection, irritation, itches or need to replace cartridges.

So how does it work? The laser cuts your facial hair when chromophores, particles in your hair that absorb certain wavelengths of light, get hit with a particular light wavelength that’s emitted from the razor.
It all sounds very scientific but here’s the video that shows the device in use. Would you be happy to use this?
