Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (you get the message)…
Four years after their high-profile break-up, LCD Soundsystem are reportedly getting back together and will perform live once again in 2016.
Multiple sources confirmed to Consequence of Sound that James Murphy and company will make a comeback in 2016 and are planning on headlining at least three high-profile music festivals in the US and the UK.
No official announcement has been made as of yet but one is expected soon and will no doubt be greeted with delirium by the band’s many fans.
LCD Soundsystem haven’t performed live since their farewell gig in Madison Square Garden in New York in April 2011, which is the focus of the 2012 documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits.
Can’t wait to have you back lads.
