Uber and Hailo have some new competition in the capital.
Good news for Dublin today, as three of the biggest taxi companies in the capital have joined forces to launch a new app.
eCab is being introduced with the idea of providing a “consistent and positive user experience” for Dubliners.
VIP Taxis, Expert Taxis and National Radio Cabs are combining, meaning over 2,000 taxis will be available for the service.
Like Uber and Hailo, the app works by allowing users to order, track and pay for the taxi in advance, with customers getting 10% off their first order if they download the app from today.
