These men have all reached the pinnacle of the game, but now they’re back to where it all started to help their clubs win local bragging rights.
Here are 4 All-Ireland winners to keep an eye on in the club championships this weekend.
Padraic Maher (Tiperrary)
Tipp stalwart Padraic Maher lines out for Thurles Sarsfields against Nenagh Éire in this weekends Tipperary Hurling County Final.
This is Sars third final in four years and they’ll be fancied, especially if you consider that Lar Corbett, Denis Maher and the Padraic and his brother Ronan Maher will all be wearing their colours.

Niall Gilligan (Clare)
Amazingly, the 39 year-old is still going strong and will play for his club Sixmilebridge when they play Limerick’s Na Piarsaigh in the Munster Club Championship on Saturday. Gilligan scored 13 points in the county final against Clonlara. Not bad for a man who won an All-Ireland all the way back in 1997.

James Masters (Cork)
Masters will hope his Nemo Rangers side can overcome a stubborn Castlehaven when they face in the Cork Football County Final this weekend. Masters was a key part of the Cork squad that won the All-Ireland in 2009 and will hope he can help Nemo achieve glory on Sunday.

Kieran Fitzgerald (Galway)
Fitzgerald helped Corofin to their third Galway Football Championship in a row and will play when his side take on Leitrim’s Mohill in the Connacht football Championship in Tuam this weekend. The 2001 All-Ireland winner will have his eyes set on another All-Ireland after Corofin claimed the title last year.
