PICS: There’s some crowd at the Dublin Marathon today

Not the best weather but spirits are high nonetheless…

You may have heard that the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon is taking place today and there’s is some crowd togged out for the event.

On a wet and windy Bank Holiday Monday in Dublin, record crowds showed up at the marathon with 15,216 people registered for the event.

Over 11,000 of these participants are Irish and they all packed into Fitzwilliam Square for the start of the race.
