Not the way you’d want to start off the weekend.
We don’t envy people who have to clamp vehicles for a living; their job is to punish people who violate parking regulations yet they don’t get a bit of thanks for it. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Just because we have some sympathy for their plight doesn’t mean we don’t also appreciate how infuriating is to see your own car clamped and we’d imagine a few motorists in Dublin got some shock when seeing what happened to their vehicles in the city centre today.
Karl Deeter, a financial analyst and columnist with the Sun on the Sunday and the Sunday Business Post, snapped this photo of a dozen vehicles clamped in Percy Place in Dublin 4 earlier this afternoon.

The clampers got their money’s worth for their visit alright, but good luck to them if they had to deal with the owners of all those vehicles in the one go.
