BBC News reporter Thomas Kane battled manfully to deliver his report outside the Aviva Stadium last night, but he just had to give in to the rhythm.
Jubilant Irish fans surrounded Kane as he described how the Republic of Ireland had beaten Bosnia and Herzegovina to book a place at next summer’s Euro 2016 finals.
He never stood a chance.
The longer the report went on, the more fans appeared jumping and singing Olé Olé and, unlike those tetchy Sky Sports News reporters on Transfer Deadline Day, he was loving it.
