So we all want England from Pot 1, right?
After Sweden became the last team to qualify for the tournament last night, UEFA have confirmed the four pots from which teams will be drawn to make up the pool stages at Euro 2016.
Seeing Ireland’s name in there has us giddily dreaming of France next summer, but the mood could be tempered somewhat if we get a tough pool when the draw is made on December 12.
The good thing it that with the tournament now expanded to 24 teams, only eight teams will be knocked out in the pool stages.
Being in Pot 4, Ireland will have it all to do to make it to the last 16, but there are definitely permutations from the Pots below that would make us fancy our chances. The odd team out is France, who, as hosts, will be top seeds in Group A.

Not to get anyone’s hopes up or anything, but doesn’t a pool made up of England, Ukraine, Hungary and Ireland sound good to you?
Roll on next summer.
