From Britain’s Got Talent to an even bigger stage.
You may remember the name of Jesse Jane McParland because the martial artist from County Armagh was previously on Britain’s Got Talent where she wowed audiences with her expert karate skills.
Jesse Jane’s athleticism, passion and incredible talent has since made her an internet sensation but her fame has now moved onto a whole new level after a recent appearance on one of the most popular shows in the US, the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
It seems that the most gifted karate kid in Armagh isn’t just skilled in the sport though because she had the audience in raptures when she was interviewed by Ellen.
We love the anecdote she says when Ellen asks why Jesse Jane’s father once asked her why his daughter didn’t do ballet or Irish dancing, to which she replied “not every girl dreams of being a princess.”
This is absolute gold and the standing ovation that she receives at the end is simply wonderful.
“Not every girl dreams of being a little princess.”
