Down with this sort of thing.
The 11-a-side hurling exhibition between Dublin and Galway at Fenway Park in Boston last night has been hailed as a massive success despite the fact that it was marred by an unseemly brawl involving several players from both sides.
Many GAA people at home criticised the players involved in the brawl as it didn’t exactly reflect well on hurling while it was being showcased to a new and wider audience.

There’s no doubting that there were others who enjoyed that aspect of proceedings, however, with many viewers on the other side of the pond comparing it to the type of fight they would be more used to seeing when watching the Boston Bruins play ice-hockey.
