A portrait doll to a bacon wallet: Here are the 9 worst Christmas presents you can buy this year

Buying these might not be the best idea

JOE

Christmas shopping is tough, especially when you’re on a budget.

You hope to buy a gift they’ll enjoy, appreciate and that means something, without spending an absolute fortune.

Socks, pyjamas and vouchers are all a little bit dull. Why not give someone the opportunity to dream? Tickets for this year’s Christmas Millionaire Raffle are only €20 and they’re disappearing fast.

Of course, if you want to buy a terrible present there are plenty of options…

Insect lollies

Lollies filled with creepy-crawlers are the perfect pre-Christmas dinner snack… just imagine how tasty the turkey will be in comparison.

A wool portrait doll

Buying someone a voodoo doll might not be the best idea. Get this for a co-worker and you can probably expect a call from HR.

Nothing

What to you get the person who has everything? The answer is nothing, obviously.

Canned unicorn meat

Apparently this meat is an ‘excellent source of sparkles.’

Sandal Socks

We would like to meet the one person who thinks these socks are a good idea… actually, maybe we wouldn’t.

Bacon Wallet

We’re pretty sure nobody wants a wallet that looks like a tattered old piece of meat. Well, apart from Lady Gaga obviously.

Snot shower

Call us crazy, but a simulated snot shower doesn’t sound very appealing to us.

Animal weighing scales

Associating people’s weights with farmyard animals is never a good idea.

We have only one question: ‘why, oh god why?’

Why not just buy them the chance of a lifetime? Get them a ticket for the National Lottery’s Christmas Millionaire Raffle.

Tickets are €20 and it’s a limited offer with only 350,000 tickets on sale. Ticket sales close at 8pm on New Year’s Eve although they may well sell out by then so get yours today.
