PICS: Exam procrastination leads students in Galway to raise the bar with epic eviction prank on housemate

Well played

Conor Heneghan

If they put as much work into studying as they did into this then its straight As all the way.

JOE reader Shane Joyce and his housemates in student accommodation in Galway should have been studying for exams in recent days, but they decided they had better things for doing instead.

After all, why would you waste time revising when you can transform two entire rooms in your house and concoct a prank so elaborate that your fellow housemate is absolutely convinced that he has been evicted just before Christmas?

Shane and his partners in crime decided to have a bit of fun at the expense of their housemate, Ciaran Walsh, who had all of his belongings removed from his room and was sent an ‘official’ letter from the accommodation detailing his eviction for late payment of rent.

You can see the lengths to which Ciaran’s housemates went to in order to pull off the prank below, but despite him no doubt freaking out at the prospect of being kicked out, he was good enough to appreciate a job well done, even if it was at his expense.

As a bonus prank, meanwhile, the bed in Ciaran’s housemate’s room was switched with the kitchen table.

Now back to the studying fellas.
