We’re not ashamed to admit this tore at the heartstrings a little bit.
It’s a simple enough video, with three elderly people discussing their childhood memories of Christmas and the things that made them happy (and a bit sad, in the case of Brussels sprouts).
The screen then fades to a message from the charity ALONE Ireland, who are looking to bring back some joy into the lives of older people this Christmas – particularly those who may be spending Christmas on their own.
