It was all just a very unfortunate mix-up.
You might watch Celebrity Big Brother or you might not (we won’t judge) but last night, the show provided an example of what can go wrong when you broadcast live to the masses.
Angie Bowie, ex-wife of David Bowie, is one of the guests currently staying in the house and on Monday, she was privately informed of the sad death of her ex-husband.
On last night’s highlights show on Channel 5, Angie is seen telling fellow guest Tiffany Pollard about Bowie’s death, only for Pollard to mistakenly believe that Angie was referring to another David, David Gest, a fellow CBB housemate.
Cue absolute hysteria (start watching from 6.00 onwards), which was eventually resolved after a few minutes.
