Heartbreak ain’t easy.

You’re a lucky guy if you manage to get through life without even one moment romantic devastation. The vast majority of us will experience this sinking sensation at least once, if not several times, over the course of a lifetime.

Heartache is a phrase that’s sometimes thrown around as though it’s a subjective term, something that we feel on an intangible level as opposed to a real physical phenomenon… Well take a look at this,

That’s a Fitbit diagram of what happened to Koby after his boyfriend called him on the phone to break-up with him. Just to be clear, his resting heart rate was steady at roughly 75 for the whole morning until it shot up to almost 100 during the break up, and carried on increasing throughout the day – peaking at almost 118 beats per minute in the late evening.
