Do you own one of these?
Lots of us barely have a euro to our name after Christmas, but January is always a popular month for buying a new car in Ireland and 2016 is no different.
Who doesn’t want to be getting envious looks from other motorists for having a 161 reg after all?

It was revealed today that new car sales for January of 2016 are up 33% on last year, with just under 40,000 new cars sold in Ireland in the first month of the year.
The figures were presented today along with the SIMI/DoneDeal Quarterly Motor Industry Review of 2015, which revealed some interesting titbits about the preferences of Irish motorists when it comes to buying new cars.

It is anticipated that sales of new cars will exceed 150,000 (approximately 152,500) in 2016, a significant increase on the 124,495 new cars sold last year, which in itself was a 30% increase on the 2014 figure.
The boom is back alright.
