According to The Record, Edgar Latulip, who had a developmental difficulty, had been missing since he was 21, when he hit his head on a bus 30 years ago and lost all memory.
In the intervening years, Latulip had been living in Niagra under a different alias.
That was until this passed January when he suddenly remembered his identity.

Latulip’s social worker then discovered that he was on a missing persons list, before DNA tests carried out by the police revealed that Latulip was indeed the correct match.
Commenting on the amazing discovery, Constable Philip Gavin, from the Niagara Regional Police, said:
“I’ve been a police officer for 18 years and this is something I’ve seen on TV but never been a part of”.
