Costa is brewing up nicely.
J-League
A far better showing from the top dogs in the J-League at the weekend after we criticised their performance in Gameweek 24, although there’s no still no change at the summit.
Ciaran Tracey’s Bacuna Mata-ta remain in first place with a 17-point lead over Allan Johnson’s Comeback Kids, although there was some significant movement just below the top two.
Fraser Smith’s Tea and Busquets moved up to third place after a very impressive 87 points, leaving them one point ahead of Pairic Sheehan in fourth.
Keith O’Brien’s Hon d’Cabayes drop to fifth, meanwhile, despite a half-decent 64 points in Gameweek 25.
J-League Top 5
1) Bacuna Mata-ta – Ciaran Tracey: 1,557 points
2) Comeback Kids – Allan Johnson: 1,540 points
3) Tea and Busquets – Fraser Smith: 1,504 points
4) *Team name removed* – Pairic Sheehan: 1,503 points
5) Hon d’Cabayes – Keith O’Brien: 1,497 points
Gameweek 26
If you thought last weekend was big, then this weekend is a truly massive one in the Premier League as the top four face off on what truly is a Super Sunday.
Leicester’s comprehensive win over Manchester City showed that is foolish to lose faith in the Foxes when they come up against the top teams. If you were guilty of that last weekend, then try and be stupider like a fox ahead of their Sunday lunchtime meeting with Arsenal at the Emirates.
Speaking of Arsenal, Mesut Ozil was back on the scoresheet after a barren run and you’d have to think that Alexis Sanchez will go on a run of form before the season is out now that he’s back fit.

The most attractive looking ties on paper from a Fantasy Football perspective would appear to be a relatively rejuvenated Chelsea’s home clash with Newcastle and Everton’s meeting with a West Brom side that needed penalties before progressing in the FA Cup during the week.
This week’s picks
Safe bet: Bamidele Alli (£6.0 million). A remarkable talent, the youngster hasn’t been quite right in either of Spurs’ last two games but has still managed to prove his worth with a goal, two assists and 14 points in just 80 minutes of football.
In the last 11 games, he’s been responsible for five goals, five assists and 69 points. At just £6.0 million, how can you NOT have him in your team?

Dark horse: Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.0 million). Swansea aren’t exactly tearing it up at the moment, but Sigurdsson certainly is. He’s scored five goals in his last six games and has registered an impressive 45 points in that period.

Captain’s choice: Diego Costa (£10.6 million). Despite a broken nose suffered in training, Costa is set to play against Newcastle and become the latest representative of Chelsea’s mask-wearing club.
If he does, he’ll get the chance to add to the six goals and 48 points he’s managed in his last eight games.
Potential to use chips
Time is running out, so if you haven’t used any of the available options yet you should probably start thinking about it.
Apart from potentially triple captaining Diego Costa (a red card would really backfire), however, we’re leaning towards Jake Gyllenhaal’s opinion on this one.
