We’ve been everywhere and now we’re back to tell you about the locations that are worth your time and the ones that aren’t.
Put Tenerife into the ‘WORTH EVERY SECOND’ file.
With thanks to Falcon Holidays, we’re here to give you 5 great reasons to visit the island.
Dramatic landscape
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a hiker, why not take a crack at the Mount Teide Volcano. It’s the third biggest volcano on the planet and it’s pretty darn epic.

Once you’ve made it to the top you’ll be rewarded with 360˚ panoramic views of the warm beaches and dry mountains in the south right across to the green and lush fertile valleys of the north.
Of course, if you’re anything like JOE you’d much prefer to be chilling out while on holiday. If so, you you can arrange a jeep tour or take a ride on the Teide Cable Car for really spectacular views.
Wildlife
Let’s be honest, on a sun holiday you want to spend a good portion of your time lounging on the beach. That’s no problem in Tenerife and while there, you might even spot a whale or a dolphin – there are 19 species in the island’s surrounding waters, year round.
You can also take a trip to Tenerife’s amazing Monkey Park and see can you spot some of your very distant cousins.

Culture & history
Tenerife has plenty to offer for culture vultures, with the Güimar Black Pyramids, which are the mysterious stone remains of an ancient civilisation that once lived on Tenerife.
Why not take a boat trip to see the Acantilados de los Gigantes – the Cliffs of the Giants, one of Tenerife’s most dramatic rock faces or visit the Barranco del Infierno – an awesome gorge situated in the Adeje region with burial caves and walking trails.
