It’s clear to hear.
The pressure is mounting on Louis Van Gaal after his Manchester United side suffered one of their most embarrassing results of the season following the 2-1 first-leg defeat to FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.
Despite taking the lead through Memphis Depay’s scruffy opener, the Danish minnows rallied to record the most famous win in their short history – the club were only founded during United’s treble winning season of ’99.
The defeat in Denmark is just the latest setback in a season that has seen United crash out of the Champions League at the group stages and fall-off dramatically in the league. Participation in next years tournament is looking increasingly unlikely for Van Gaal’s side after a disatrous run of form over the Christmas period.
The Red Devils are currently lying in fifth place in the league, six points behind neighbours Man City , and it seems that quite a lot of their travelling fans have lost faith in LVG’s philosophy.
Have a listen to the NSFW chants that echoed around the MCH Arena last night.
