Just take a look at the finish to the fight…
Bellator MMA are a rising fighting organisation in the MMA world but they still lag a long way behind the UFC in terms of fighter quality and viewership.
One of the ways they’ve been trying to garner some attention to the organisation is by producing fights between over the hill veterans and internet stars.
Kimbo Slice became famous as a bare knuckle boxer on YouTube where he was knocking out opponents for fun, so famous intact, that he was on the UFC roster for a short period.
Last night he faced a fellow street fighter Dada 5000, in a Bellator MMA heavyweight match in the Toyota Center, Houston, Texas.
Neither fighter is renowned for their cardio, or technical skills and this was reflected in their fight which has been labelled by some as on of the worst fights MMA fights of all time.
Slice finally won it in the third round after glancing Dada 500 with an elbow, although it seemed like Dada simply gave up through exhaustion…
.@KimboSlice wins it in round 3! #Bellator149https://t.co/0Q7q6Mcpnn
