Not a bad surprise to get of a Tuesday morning.
Early on Tuesday morning, 20 fans of the popular Second Captains podcast turned up at a secret location in Dublin for what they thought was going to be a one-off interview with Ajax, Barcelona and Dutch football legend Patrick Kluivert.
Later that evening, they found themselves in the company of Kluivert in some of the best seats at the Emirates Stadium taking in the Champions League last 16 clash between Arsenal and Barcelona and watching Lionel Messi do what he does best in the flesh.
How they got there was all part of an elaborate stunt devised by UEFA Champions League sponsors Pepsi Max and Doritos in association with Second Captains, who led their fans into thinking that Kluivert was going to be a no-show before surprising them with the amazing news.

The atmosphere was more than a little bit uncomfortable for a few minutes when it seemed that everything was going awry, but, needless to say, the payback was more than worth it.
Here’s how it all went down.
JOE was also in attendance at the Emirates and set Kluivert a uniquely Irish challenge, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the coming days.

To celebrate teaming up with the UEFA Champions League, Doritos are on hand to get you #GAMEREADY with prizes from official UEFA T-shirts and footballs, to tickets to the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final in Milan. To be in with a chance of winning visit www.game-ready.com.
