Congratulations to Carice van Houten!
Ms. van Houten is better known to most of us as the actress who plays Melisandre on Game of Thrones.
In case you don’t know who that is, she’s a priestess who worships The Lord of Light. You know, the one who gave birth to a dark, shadowy phantom that rampaged through the tent of Lord Renly, killed him and vanished?
Well, she’s having a baby – and we have to say thank goodness we were not present at the ultrasound. We expect that Carice will be getting more than her fair share of jokes about her wonderful news, but she’s ready for all of them – tweeting this earlier on:
