This will be huge if it happens.
While it’s hard to see beyond this summer’s European Championships, the idea of Liverpool taking on Barcelona in Dublin on 6 August has just made us feel a little bit funny down there.
The International Challenge Cup match has been confirmed for a European venue, although there is still no confirmation that the Aviva will host the reunion of Luis Suarez, Javier Mascherano and their for Liverpool colleagues.
If it happens, it will be the first time Suarez will have faced his old team-mates since moving in the summer of 2014 and given its proximity to the start of next season, you can be certain that both teams’ top stars will be involved.
One match that will definitely be taking place in Dublin is Celtic vs. Barcelona, on Saturday 30 July.
#LFC reportedly set to take on Barcelona at Aviva Stadium on August 6. If true, the Dublin Decider would become a Demolition Derby #fcblive
